Kurt Enoch was the founder of Signet Books and a publisher whose desire was to bring great literature and genre fiction out of the libraries and into the hands of readers. A tremendous association.
Basis for the 1956 film noir, "Slightly Scarlet," directed by Allan Dwan.
Some waviness to the binding due to exposure to moisture at the rear, resulting in some dampstaining to the rear panel and page edges. Overall Very Good in wrappers.
