Screenwriter Cockrell is best known for the seminal film noir, "Dark Waters" (1944), directed by Andre De Toth, and went on to write for television between 1956-1966, including original stories for "Perry Mason," "Johnny Staccato," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," and "Batman."

Peach titled wrappers, noted as Second Draft script on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy number present, dated March 13, 1947, with credit for screenwriter Cockrell.
