Paris: Films Polski, 1962. Collection of eight vintage French photographs from the 1962 Polish film. Starring actors and images of the sailboat are seen, including a few candid moments, and a full-length portrait of actor Anna Ciepielewska. Nearly all with numerical annotations in manuscript pencil on the versos. Also included is an original French language press packet for the film, detailing synopsis and star biographies. Housed in a white envelope with annotations in manuscript ink, including French film title, and a “Pictorial Service” rubber-stamp.

Polanski’s directorial debut, and his only Polish language film. A couple on a sailing trip picks up a hitchhiker, just for kicks. The sexual tension mounts in dramatic film noir fashion. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
