Kristin Lavransdatter [Kristin]

Chatsworth, CA: Home Vision Entertainment, circa 1977. An early English language draft script for the 1995 Norwegian film. A brief letter from the director John Cromwell to the publicity agent Paul Kohner is laid into the front wrapper.

Based on the 1920-1921 trilogy of novels of the same name by the Nobel Prize winning author Sigrid Undset. Set in 14th Century Norway, Kristin Lavransdatter is the daughter of a wealthy landowning family who have arranged a marriage for her.
