Set in the near future, the Ayatollah Khomeini has recently died and the new leftist regime in Iran has begun to work together with the Soviet Union. The young and untraditional US president embarks on an diplomacy trip to address The Soviet Unions recent breach of an anti-nuclear treaty. His first stop is the UK, where he narrowly avoids assassination.
