Based on a 1963 novel of the same name by Gavin Lambert. Daisy Clover is a young girl, seen as a tomboy, who lives with her mother in Santa Monica. She submits an audition tape to a Hollywood studio, and is picked up and made a star at the cost of the dramatic life of Hollywood fame.
