A businessman (Noiret) wants to buy land around the village of Cabosse, claiming his desire for seclusion but with intentions to sell the water from the village fountain, purportedly a fountain of youth. One of Clair's final films.

Shot on location throughout France.

5 x 7 inches, tiny white border at the foot. Near Fine, with light curling and faint foxing.
