Based on a Liberty Magazine serial by Fred Allhoff. New York City law professor John Lindsay (Edward G. Robinson) is asked to be a special prosecutor to fight racketeering and corruption. Unbeknownst to Lindsay, the member of the governor's Civic Committee who asked him is working with the racketeers.
