Original photograph of Nam June Paik and Charlotte Moorman performing "Human Cello"

N.p. N.p., 1965. Vintage photograph of Nam June Paik and Charlotte Moorman performing "Human Cello" as part of John Cage's "26'1.1499" on October 4, 1965 at the Cafe au Go Go in New York City. With holograph notations on the verso identifying the piece and crediting photographer Barbara Moore.

One of several collaborations between Paik and Moorman, including "TV Bra for Living Sculpture" (1969), "TV-Cello" (1971), and, mostly controversially, "Opera Sextronique" (1967), which saw Moorman perform cello pieces in various states of undress, leading to her arrest for indecent exposure and nationwide notoriety as the "topless cellist."

8 x 10 inches (20 x 25 cm). Very Good plus.
