An instant classic upon release, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was Walt Disney's first full length animated feature. "Disney's Folly," skeptics at the time had called the concept of a feature length cartoon, but Disney invested 3 years, over $1.5 million, and the talents of 570 artists. It was an immediate and tremendous success, both critically and financially and was hailed as "the greatest American animated film of all time" by the American Film Institute in 2008.

Winner of Honorary Academy Award, "recognized as a significant screen innovation which has charmed millions and pioneered a great new entertainment field for the motion picture cartoon." It was awarded a unique "Oscar" with 1 large standard figurine and 7 miniature figurines attached, staircased to it's left.
