Based on Ewen Montagu's 1954 book, based on a true story about a British attempt to trick their German enemies, using the name and credentials of a dead man as bait. The real intelligence plan was called "Operation Mincemeat," and was devised to deceive the Axis powers into thinking "Operation Husky," an invasion of Sicily, would take place elsewhere.
