Lieutenant Pat Tornell, a pilot newly sworn into the US Coast Guard's airborne division, realizes he will be working closely with his former school rival, Lieutenant Dan Conlon. The two men try to outperform each other at every turn, and are divided further and further in competition, culminating in a love triangle with Conlon's beautiful girlfriend Anne. Frances Farmer's second feature film.
