Two original photographs of Ohio girl's softball teams, circa 1970s

[Americana] [Baseball] [Little League]

N.p. N.p., Circa 1970s. Two vintage photographs of girl's softball teams, taken at Veteran's Park in Shelby, OH, circa the 1970s. With manuscript ink annotations on the verso noting the location and identifying some of the subjects.

Little League first organized softball programs for both girls and boys in 1974, around the time these photographs were taken, although nothing indicates whether or not these were Little League teams or teams from a local rec league. The sponsors on the teams' uniforms are from an A&W Restaurant franchise and the Hicks and Martin auto dealership.

Photographs matted to 6.5 x 4.5 inches.
