Based on the 1961 Broadway comedy. A conservative father's efforts to protect his rebellious hippie daughter frequently backfire, leading him into a variety of humorously scandalous situations. The fourth of five pictures director Henry Koster made with James Stewart, a collaboration beginning with "Harvey" in 1950.
