Based on the 1965 historical novel by James Michener, a survey of the history of the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Screenwriter Robert L. Joseph was known for the 1953 film noir "The Hitch-Hiker" and for the television miniseries "World War III" (1982).

White titled self wrappers, noted as First Draft on the front wrapper, dated November 4, 1977, with credits for screenwriter Robert L. Joseph and novelist James Michener. Title page integral with the front wrapper, as issued. 139 leaves, with last page of text numbered 135. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good, with light soil overall and creasing to the last leaf, bound with three gold brads.
