Based on the 1968 novel "Legion of Outcasts" by Nick Hurk and Ben Roberts Davis writing as Hurk Davis. A Dutchman living in Paris joins the French Foreign Legion, where he is shipped off to fight in the Algerian Civil War, quickly captured by enemies, and held as a prisoner of war for six months.

Set in Algeria, the Netherlands, and France.
