Based on Grace Metalious' 1959 Novel "Return to Peyton Place," sequel to her 1956 novel "Peyton Place," which was made into the acclaimed 1957 film by Mark Robson, Jose Ferrer's "Return to Peyton Place" takes place some eight to ten years after the events of the first film and features an all-new cast.
Allison Mackenzie (Carol Lynley) writes a controversial novel detailing secrets of Peyton Place, New Hampshire, outraging many of the residents. Featuring a wonderful performance by veteran actor Mary Astor as the haughty, domineering Mrs. Roberta Carter.
Shot on location in California and Massachusetts.
8 x 10 inches. Near Fine overall, some light creasing. One with a closed tear to right side and one with a couple small pinholes and scratching near center.
