Sweet Monday
N.p. N.p., Circa 1971. Draft script for an unproduced film. Included with the script is a four page typed note addressed to casting agent Paul Kohner from director Jean Negulesco, discussing the merits of the screenplay. With a few manuscript ink and pencil annotations throughout, a mix of substantive and editorial revisions.
Based on Otto Preminger's classic 1944 film noir "Laura," with the eponymous role played by a young Black woman.
Set in San Francisco.
