Script contains copied annotations on nearly every page, noting passages that are to be spoken in German, with much of the annotations in German, as well as strikes, comments, and dialogue changes.
"The Wednesday Play" is regarded as one of the most influential and successful British television programs of the 1960s, and gave audience to the fledgling careers of, among others, Dennis Potter, Nell Dunn and Jeremy Sandford, Ken Loach, and David Mercer.
