Canadian-born Prevost began her film career as a Mack Sennett "Bathing Beauty" in 1917, but found her breakthrough role in "Yankee Doodle in Berlin" (1918). The actress was best known for her light comedies with Universal and Warner Brothers, most notably with director Ernst Lubitch, including "The Marriage Circle" (1924), "Three Women" (1924) and "Kiss Me Again" (1925).
