One of Robert Altman's most acclaimed films. John McCabe (Warren Beatty) arrives in the Old West mining town of Presbyterian Church quickly asserting himself among the locals and setting up shop, running a brothel and a bathhouse. Soon after, cockney prostitute Constance Miller (Julie Christie) arrives and proposes running the brothel for McCabe at a fifty/fifty split.

One of the finest revisionist Westerns made. Beautifully shot by cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond and brilliantly edited by Lou Lombardo, "McCabe and Mrs. Miller," is widely regarded as one of the finest of the New Hollywood films.

In 2010 it was selected for the US National Film Registry. Nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Set in Washington and shot on location in Vancouver British Columbia Canada.
