Captain Alex Pastitsch (Roland Young) finds himself mired in debt and his military career threatened trying to keep his lover, Maria Draga (Pola Negri), in the lavish lifestyle she accustomed.

Pola Negri was one of the most popular actresses in American silent film, "A Woman Commands" was her first sound film and intended to be her grand re-entry.

8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, one with pinholes at corner, one with small chip to left corner margin, one with a small bruise to upper right, and one with a small closed tear to the right margin, otherwise light creasing and light edgewear.
