Klara Novak (Margaret Sullavan) is the new employee at the Matuschek and Company store, and Alfred Kralik (James Stewart), their best salesman, can't stand each other, unaware they're falling in love through the post as anonymous pen pals.
Selected for the National Film Registry in 1999.
Set in Budapest.
