Pennington worked as an actress, dancer, and singer on Broadway in the 1910s and 1920s, most notably in the Ziegfeld Follies and "George White's Scandals." The actress also appeared in over 20 films, including starring roles in "Susie Snowflake" (1916) and "The Antics of Ann" (1917).
