Hong Kong: Golden Harvest, 1971. Vintage program for the 1971 film, with a one page English language synopsis of the film, and rest of the text in Chinese. Photo-illustrated throughout in both color and black-and-white.
Bruce Lee's first major film role, which instantly rocketed him to stardom throughout Southeast Asia, and one where he was originally to play a supporting role to established star James Tien. When Wei Lo replaced original director Wu Chia Hsiang, he re-wrote the script so that Tien's character was killed off instead of Lee's, and Lee became the lead. Originally and confusingly released in the US as "Fists of Fury" rather than "The Chinese Connection" as intended, the latter title mistakenly given to Lee's 1972 film "Fist of Fury."
