Based on Eugene O'Neill's 1933 play "Ah, Wilderness." A light comedy following the romantic misadventures of a family in Connecticut in the early 20th century. The musical ran for 448 performances, and was nominated for eight Tony Awards, winning one for Best Actor in a Musical for Jackie Gleason.
