Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox, 1942. Shooting Final Draft script archive for the 1943 film. Copy belonging to director H. Bruce Humberstone, with his name in holograph ink annotation to the front wrapper. Accompanying the script are several production documents, including a mimeographed shooting schedule, casting sheet, lists of musical numbers and scenes, and interdepartmental notes on Twentieth Century-Fox letterhead addressing budget expenditures, casting, and script revisions.

Loosely based on the 1936 film "King of Burlesque" (1936), which also starred Alice Faye and Jack Oakie. In San Francisco in the early 20th century, a vaudeville quartet hits the big time at the expense of the troupe's lead performer.

Set in San Francisco.
