Monty Python's third feature film, a religious satire about Brian, a man born on the same day and in a stable next door to Jesus Christ, and who goes on to be mistaken for Jesus throughout his life. George Harrison financed the film after EMI withdrew funding just days before the production was scheduled to begin.

Shot on location in the UK and Tunisia.
