Good-natured, bumbling Mr. Hulot decides to take a summer trip to the French coast, where he wreaks benevolent chaos on the residents of a small seaside resort. The film which introduced Jacques Tati's beloved character to the world, followed by "Mon Oncle" (1958), "Play Time" (1967), and "Trafic" (1971).
