N.p. Embassy Pictures, 1964. Two intage studio still photographs from the 1963 film, showing actors Brigitte Bardot, Giorgia Moll, and Jack Palance. With manuscript pencil annotations on the verso regarding layout.

Based on the 1954 Italian novel "Il disprezzo" ("A Ghost at Noon") by Alberto Moravia. Director Jean-Luc Godard's lush Technicolor landmark, the film that transformed Brigitte Bardot from a sex symbol into an art object, while also furthering Godard's own reputation for being the most commercially successful deconstructionist in film history. A fascinating film that can be watched either as a narrative about a disintegrating relationship or as an unending series of pure cinematic references.
