Inspired by the 1953 Ian Fleming novel. A spoof of Bond films of the 1960s, made when producer Charles K. Feldman, who had the rights to Fleming's work, could not come to an agreement to create a film parallel to those produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman at Eon Productions.
