Based on Pierre Boulle's 1952 novel "Le Pont de la riviere Kwai," about Allied POWs forced to build a railway over a bridge during World War II. Nominated for eight Academy Awards, winning seven, including Best Picture, Best Director for David Lean, and Best Actor for Alec Guinness.
Set in Thailand, shot on location in Sri Lanka.
10 x 8 inches. Very Good, lightly toned and edgeworn, several with pinholes to the corners, one with a light bruise to the bottom right corner of the recto.
