Copy belonging to production designer Pierre Guffroy, with his first name in manuscript ink to the title page, and his manuscript annotations regarding props and special effects throughout. Missing six pages, likely as used or issued.

Dashing Captain Red and his young assistant traverse the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying a bawdy, swashbuckling lifestyle. A Franco-Tunisian production, intended as a comedic valentine to the genre films of the 1930s and 1940s.

Shot on location in Tunisia and France.

Self wrappers. Title page integral with front wrapper, undated, with credits for director Roman Polanski and screenwriter Gerard Brach. 120 leaves, with last page of text numbered 124. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good, wrapper Very Good, lightly soiled and creased, bound with a silver prong.
