Rico appeared in her breakthrough role at 22, opposite John Barrymore in Ernst Lubitsch's silent film "Eternal Love" (1929). She went on to appear in "Shadows of Glory" (1930), "A Devil with Women" (1930), "Goin' to Town" (1935), and "Zorro Rides Again" (1937).
