Screenwriter Eliot Gibbons worked at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Republic Studios for most of his career. He was best known for his aviation pictures, most notably "Storm Over the Andes" (1935), "Flight at Midnight" (1939), and "Sky Raiders" (1941).
Set in postwar Chicago and Los Angeles.
