Frankenstein

Archive of material from the 1981 Broadway play, including one vintage draft script, three producers' invitations to the play's opening night, two Playbill programs, two drawstring plastic bags printed with the play's logo, one opening night ticket housed in a Palace Theatre envelope, an eleven-page xerographically duplicated reference page listing previous adaptations of "Frankenstein," seven promotional buttons, and four small battery-operated lights decorated with the play's logo.

Based on Mary Shelley's 1818 Gothic novel. The short-lived play ran for 29 previews and opened at the Palace Theatre on January 4, 1981, closing the same night.

Brown titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers. Title page present, dated 1979, with credits for director Tom Moore, playwright Victor Gialanella, and novelist Mary Shelley. 120 leaves, with last page of text numbered 2-5-52.
