Based on the 1963 Japanese novel by Yukio Mishima. A widowed woman with a 14-year-old son begins dating the second officer on a merchant ship. Enraged and jealous, the son plans to kill the sailor with the help of his group of friends, a violent gang commanded by a young boy nicknamed Chief.
Set and shot on location in Dartsmouth, Devon, England.
