Los Angeles: Tandem Productions, 1978. Final Draft script for the season 9, episode 8, "Edith Versus the Bank," of the classic television series, which aired on November 19, 1978. Script preceded by a "Cast" and "Sets" page, "Rehearsal and Tape Schedule," and a three page "Rundown."
Edith tries to buy a television for Archie, but the bank refuses to give her credit because she's just a housewife and doesn't hold a job. Winner of 22 Primetime Emmy Awards, it was nominated 55 times, and is one of the few shows in which all the leads won Emmys. The show is credited with having the most spin-offs for a prime time television series, directly spawning "Maude," "The Jeffersons," "Archie Bunker's Place," "Gloria," and "704 Hauser."
