Necrophiliac scientist Dr. Hichcock and his wife Cynthia are stalked by his first wife, Margaretha, who seeks vengeance for Hichcock's cruelties. The first horror film to receive the Italian VM18 ("vietato ai minori di 18 anni," or no admittance under 18) rating, which had been established only months prior to the film's release, in April 1962.
