Loren, who made her film debut at 16 in Mervyn LeRoy's 1951 film "Quo Vadis," became an international household name four years after these photographs were taken when she signed a five-picture contract with Paramount Pictures in 1958. The actress also starred in Vittorio De Sica's drama "Two Women" in 1960, for which Loren won an Academy Award for Best Actress, making her the first person to win an Oscar for a foreign-language performance.

Approximately 3.75 x 4.75 inches. Very Good plus, lightly toned and soiled to the margins.
