The Confession [L'aveu]

N.p. N.p., Circa 1970. Two vintage borderless reference photographs from the 1970 film, both attributed to the film's photographer Chris Marker. One photograph shows director Costa-Gavras, the other a crew member with a clapboard.

Reference photographs taken by Costa-Gavras' friend and colleague Chris Marker, who would go on to become an important figure in the French New Wave in his own right, directing "A Grin Without a Cat" (1977) and "Sans Soleil" (1983).

Shot on location in Nord, Alpes-Maritimes, and Pas-de-Calais, France.
