An autobiography of Caresse Crosby, an arts patron, antiwar activist, and bohemian in the early 20th century. Alongside her second husband Harry Crosby, she co-founded the Black Sun Press, a publisher which was instrumental in publishing many now-renowned authors, including Ernest Hemingway, Anais Nin and Henry Miller, Charles Bukowski, and Hart Crane. Crosby is also noted as the inventor of the first modern bra, which she patented in 1914 as the "Backless Brassiere."

Very Good plus in a Very Good dust jacket. Light offsetting to the endpapers, with faint soil to the page block. Jacket lightly toned and rubbed, with moderate loss to the spine ends and rear panel and cello tape reinforcements to the inside jacket.
