Isabel
Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures, 1968. Vintage reference photograph of Genevieve Bujold from the 1968 film.
The first of Canadian director Paul Almond's ambitious trilogy, with his then-wife Bujold, followed by "Act of the Heart" (1970), and "Journey" (1972), attempting to establish an understated, highly interiorized Canadian art cinema, greatly influenced by Ingmar Bergman.
Isabel finds herself haunted by memories from her childhood upon returning to her family's farm, shortly after her mother's death.
Set in and shot on location in Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada.
10 x 8 inches. Near Fine, with light creasing.
