Literally a "mind-blowing" film, in which two young psychic savants possess the ability to blow up the head of a another person by means of telekinesis. Kirk Douglas and John Cassavetes play two men (one good, one evil) battling for control over the youngsters, with Cassavetes on the nefarious side of the line. One of director Brian DePalma's most entertaining genre films, predating David Cronenberg's slightly more intellectual "Scanners" by 3 years.
