New York: Mills Artists, Circa 1930s. Vintage promotional photograph of bandleader Cab Calloway, issued circa 1930s to promote Calloway's appearance at the legendary Cotton Club in Harlem.

Calloway and his band were initially hired to temporarily fill in at the Cotton Club in 1931, while Duke Ellington and his orchestra were on tour. The band's popularity at the Cotton Club would win them steady gigs for the ensuing decade.

8 x 10 inches. Very Good, with light creasing and wear on the corners.
