Loosely based on the 1957 novel by John P. Marquand, the final Mr. Moto novel. The first and only film directed by Academy Award screenwriter Richard L. Breen. US Intelligence Agent Mark Fannon uncovers a communist plot to assassinate the American High Commissioner when on a routine mission to Japan.

Set in and shot on location in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.
