The Adventures of Ford Fairlane [Ford Fairlane]

Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox, 1989. Draft script for the 1990 film, here under the working title, "Ford Fairlane," Copy belonging to set dresser Scott J. Nifong, with the annotation of his name in holograph ink to the top left of the front wrapper.

Based on characters created by Rex Weiner in a series of stories published in the New York Rocker and the LA Weekly between 1979 and 1980. Andrew Dice Clay stars as "Rock n' Roll Detective" Ford Fairlane, hired by his friend, shock-jock Johnny Crunch, to find a mysterious groupie, Zuzu Petals, who may have information on the murder of heavy metal singer Bobby Black.
