Chicago and New York: Ziff-Davis, 1946. First Edition. The only novel by radio personality Murray Forbes, basis for the classic 1948 film noir (better known today under its UK title, "The Scar"), starring Paul Henreid and Joan Bennett. Extremely scarce.

Fine in a strong Very Good plus dust jacket. Contemporary owner name on the front endpaper. Jacket is quite bright, with no fading, and only a bit of rubbing to the extremities and a few short closed tears to note. A strong copy.
