Based on the Fu Manchu novel series by Sax Rohmer. The second of five films in producer Harry Alan Towers' Fu Manchu series, starring Christopher Lee as the legendary supervillian. Preceded by "The Face of Fu Manchu" (1965), and followed by "The Vengeance of Fu Manchu" (1967), "The Blood of Fu Manchu" (1968), and "The Castle of Fu Manchu" (1969). Fu and his henchmen kidnap the beautiful daughters of prominent scientists, demanding the scientists help in building a death ray to take over the world, but his archenemy, Nayland Smith of Scotland Yard, is determined to foil Fu's plans.

Set in and shot on location in London.
