New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1972. First Edition. A collection of short stories, detailing the exploits of Ernest Hemingway's recurrent character Nick Adams.

Several of the stories formed the basis for the 1946 film "The Killers," directed by Robert Siodmak and starring Edmond O'Brien and Ava Gardner, and for the 1962 film "Hemingway's Adventures of a Young Man," directed by Martin Ritt and starring Richard Beymer.

Owner stamp on the bottom page edges, and dealer stamp on the bottom edge of the half-title page, else Near Fine in a Near Fine dust jacket.
